"Morning" ......seems a good place to start this blog. So "Good Morning All"  I have been toying with the idea of adding a blog, for many reasons....
What will i be blogging about, I hear you ask?...... "The Adventures of Cherry On The Cake" I thought this week would be a perfect week to launch my blog (well actually last week, but i ran out of time) Last week, because Cherry On The Cake turned 3!! How times flies, when your having fun!! Its been 3 years since i started my lovely business. I am so proud of it and how far it has come and how many directions it has gone in. It really does bring me out in "fun bumps" and as you will read as the blog progresses, i really enjoy myself and what i do. Not to mention the giggles i have along the way. - "Giggles will be shared in this blog thats for sure!!" For those of you that don't know how Cherry On the Cake started..here is a quick outline...... Are you sitting comfortably.... I have 2 beautiful daughters and when celebrating their birthday's i always gave them traditional birthday parties with all the homemade food. I would get so many comments from friends on how lovely the food was and how nice to have a "Traditional" party for the children. With lovely fresh food, that looked exciting to eat and lifted a room giving an instant party atmosphere. ( a seed planted) (another seed planted) Of all places at my Grandmothers funeral, my parents had caterers in to do a finger buffet. When it was dropped off, and i saw the food, my first though was. "I could have done that" chatting to my husband Paul (as we both used to work in a hotel together) saying how easy that would be. The caterer had Made the food, dropped it off and then later collected the plates. I could do that, i heard myself say again. Then a little voice saying to me "Well do it then!"  So i did, it started with Catering For Children's parties, then i was also asked to do adult buffets then cakes, and then cupcakes. The cupcake side just grew and grew and i am now doing cupcakes deliveries, cupcakes for parties and weddings while having such a wonderful time. Love meeting all the excited Brides and Grooms and helping them plan their cupcake tower. So that was the beginning 3 years ago, and now as you will see from my website, the business has gone from strength to strength. To celebrate being in business for "3 years" i have launched a Competition for "3 lucky winners." To win a box of Cupcakes. I have been overwhelmed with the number of entries and with the poems that have been arriving (without me asking for poems) they have really made me laugh!! Love them!!! (Tune of I'm a little teapot) I'm a little cup cake, on the shelf I get so lonely all by myself order by the box full in lots of styles Cherry on the Cake are the best for miles!! (I heard you sing that!!) There once was a gorgeous lady from Eastleigh, Who did so much than she will ever know to help me, She sells cupcakes so nice Better than sugar and spice Happy birthday to cherry on the cake and Heidi !!!!!! Lots of emails with the Happy Birthday song - Its been so much fun receiving them.. Thank You!!
