Hi All, What a lovely week of cooking I was thinking last night while using my "Smoothers" to smooth the icing on a cake for a Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Thinking to myself - "I do Love doing this" smoothing away!! Nobody to share it with as everybody was asleep. Then I remembered my blog and that I hadn't updated in ages!!! OPHS!! I did actually log on to blog away at some crazy hour last night but then thought better of it and got some sleep to be up early to cook this morning. The theme for the Diamond Wedding is Silver and Pink, hearts with a few roses. Looks so pretty even if i say so myself. I have a few clearer pictures just waiting to download so do watch out for them. The cupcakes look so cute with matching hearts scatter and double hearts too all in silver cases. (Note.....if baking with silver metallic cases be aware they are soooooooo much hotter when taking them of the oven than the normal ones......Can you tell I'm speaking from experience there...Ouch!!) I get so much satisfaction out of making something pretty (that tastes good too) that I just wanted to share. I had to laugh today when my husband Paul popped his head into the kitchen to see how much longer I was going to be. "OMG...there is icing sugar everywhere" After having my business for a good few years now and knowing that icing sugar goes everywhere it does make me laugh that he makes the same observation everytime. "and he says I repeat myself !!!" Giggle Giggle... Well this blog didn't get posted as I thought (thats what comes of blogging in your sleep!!) so I will now add some photos too it.
